The first purpose of trafficking women and children is prostitution. They are the principal target of trafficking. According to the article, before doing this kind of things, it started as a contraband and drugs. It begins with opportunities , like a job, that end up in sex explotation, involucrating drugs. According to the UNICEF, more than 30 million children have been a victime of this trafficking, the victims are usually from poor families. Base on what Christa Crawford Said, it can be deduced , a really few cases have been known because their victims are not going to talk agaings their attackers , cause they are afraid of the consequences. Furthermore, she said Thailand is the middle place that they use to trafficked to other places.
